Teaching
Sophie is a qualified instructor (UKCC Level 2), BHS first aided, DBS checked, and fully insured. She offers teaching from the yard in Hurstpierpoint, as well as travelling locally.
Polework, groundwork, and gridwork clinics are held regularly at the yard. Please do get in touch if interested in lessons, or you would like to join in the next clinic.
Groundwork/Loading
Sophie is passionate about working with horses on the ground and has used natural horsemanship techniques to help horses with a variety of issues. Sophie has helped owners with a variety of handling, ridden, and loading problems. Sophie is able to help horse’s overcome issues on the ground, and to provide owners with the knowledge and confidence to help their horses going forward.
Sophie has also done a lot of work with horses on the ground who are rehabbing from injuries, so can assist with this sort of work is needed.
Freelance riding and exercise
As an experienced rider and handler, Sophie is able to exercise your horse for you, either in Hurstpierpoint or at your own yard. This can be done as a one off, a regular long term fixture, or holiday cover. Sophie can confidently assist with schooling, hacking, competing, long-lining, lunging, or groundwork.
